About SaveThat
SaveThat is a free, unlimited audio and video converter, with no registration required, available on all devices and browsers.
What is SaveThat?
SaveThat is a web service that lets you convert and download videos and music in MP3 or MP4 from several platforms: YouTube, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Vimeo, Dailymotion and X (Twitter). Depending on the source, you get audio up to 320 kbit/s or video up to 720p, always at the best quality actually available.
Unlike most converters, SaveThat automatically enriches audio files with the right metadata: title, artist, album and cover art. And we are honest about quality: each platform streams at its own bitrate, and we never artificially inflate a file to display a misleading number.
The service does not permanently store any file. Files are generated on demand, remain accessible for a few hours in your history, then are automatically deleted from our servers. No registration required.

Our philosophy
SaveThat was created by a user, for users. The starting observation is simple: most converters are flooded with ads, impose arbitrary limits, promise quality they do not deliver, or produce files with incorrect or missing metadata.
Our goal is to provide a simple, fast, professional-quality tool that respects the user, is honest about what it does, and produces files usable directly in any audio or video player.
Legal and responsible use
SaveThat is a technical conversion tool. It must be used exclusively for rights-free content, under Creative Commons licence, or for which you hold the necessary rights. Many artists, particularly on platforms like Bandcamp or SoundCloud, offer their music for purchase or as an official free download: that is the best way to support them.
Downloading copyright-protected content without authorisation is illegal. Each user is responsible for their use of the service. Consult our FAQ and our privacy policy for more information.
